Please note that the new sub-plate referred to in paragraph 14 of the RSDA/CSS Code of Practice for Signing at Surface Dressing Sites Code of Practice is not prescribed and may not be used without formal authorisation by the Department for Transport. Highway Authorities in England should apply in writing for an authorisation covering their network to: Traffic Signs Branch, Zone 2/08, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR. Applications may also be made by e-mail to: traffic.signs@dft.gsi.gov.uk. Sign drawings and location plans are not required in this instance.
